Before I became a small business owner, I've worked in the fortune 500 companies as an IT professional for 15 years. As I looked to transition to a more mom-friendly flexible schedule, I started looking into opportunities where I could continue to provide financially for my family whilst leveraging my creative nature.
One such opportunity was borne out of my shopping habits. I loved going to local art and craft events around Treasure Valley. I found myself buying artisan handmade bath and body products, and being a conscious consumer of skin care products, I decided to try to create a positive contribution to this growing industry. In 2017 I started my business, Anna’s Bath Treats. Running this business has given me an opportunity to teach my kids, who are in high school, the importance of entrepreneurial skills.
